WI Choir Tour 2007

Our first concert was amazing at the Basilica Santa Maria Maggiori. The bus didn't pick us up at the hotel to take us, so we had to walk. The students haven't complained about anything... yet! The priest wanted copies of some of our music he loved it so much. We were able to warm up in a side room and the acoustics were so incredible that the students had goose bumps. 
Yesterday we had some free time and students chose to tour the Sistine Chapel and the Colosseum for the most part. The history of Rome is unbelievable.

I just couldn't believe that Ali Mileto's cousins came to the concert last night.  She was surprised and happy to see them. What a small world.

We're off this morning to Florence. The weather is beautiful!
