Master of Theological Evening Classes in Pitt St, Sydney

Wesley Institute’s new MTS (Master of Theological Studies) Evening classes have been designed to suit busy working professionals who desire to deepen their theological understanding and upgrade their undergraduate degree with post-graduate Theological qualifications. This new initiative of Wesley Institute brings award-winning staff and innovative courses right into the heart of the city, at hours convenient to you.
Semester 1 - 2009
Courses available include:
- Mondays 6-9 pm: Ephesians & Philippians with Dr Jim Harrison
- This unit provides an advanced course in exegesis and gives students an opportunity to demonstrate independent thinking, research and critical judgement in handling New Testament literature through the exegesis of passages from Ephesians and Philippians.
- Wednesdays 6-9 pm: Theological Foundations with Kit Barker
- This unit provides students with a foundation for theology by establishing the authority upon which all Christian understanding is founded. It also examines some of the basic doctrines of the Christian faith as they are understood by the major Christian traditions. (Prerequisites: None)
Cost: Non-award $980 Audit $539 per subject.
FEE-HELP is available to students who enrol in the MTS on a full time or part time mode.

- Wednesdays 6-9pm: Foundations of Biblical Hermeneutics with Kit Barker
- Thursdays 6-9pm: Foundations of Pastoral Ministry with Jen Davis
