Ministering Life to a Dying World Conference

This one day conference held by Wesley Institute aims to –

  • Build up congregations for ministry in a rapidly changing world, through practical evangelical teaching from the Scriptures
  • Equip congregations for evangelistic outreach by learning to
    - engage with the social and emotional needs of
      hurting people
    - communicate relevantly to our culture
    - identify with differing people groups in multicultural
      Australian society
  • Set congregations’ pastoral vision for people through godly leadership, practical biblical preaching, healthy relationships within the body of Christ, and ministry to the poor.

Keynote Speaker

Assistant Professor Dr Joseph Fantin, Dallas Theological Seminary (USA), teaches in New Testament Studies and Greek.Dr Joseph Fantin His research interests include the first-century world, Greek language and linguistics, exegetical method, and the exegesis of the prison epistles. His teaching passion is to see students grow in their knowledge of Christ in order to bring Christ’s love to a lost world. His first book, dealing with Paul’s response to the emperor cult, will be published soon by Phoenix Press. He and his wife, Robin, have two children: Jillian and David.
