Another PhD to Add to the Mix

Wesley Institute is very proud to announce that Grenville Kent passed his doctoral viva for Manchester University in July. His thesis was on the Witch of Endor episode in 1 Samuel 28. His supervisor was Dr David Firth, Calver College, England (ex Wesley Institute, now the sub-editor of the Tyndale Old Testament commentary series, and author of three books).
Grenville’s thesis applied film theory to the text and received the accolade from one of the markers as being one of the most original theses he has read in the last twenty years.
We are very proud to have Grenville on staff with us in the School of Theology.
