Some of the dance and movement genres offered are:
- Classical Ballet
- Contemporary Technique - Martha Graham, Lester Horton, Jose Limon and Release

Our courses are practical and professional, combining creativity with industry skills. Internationally renowned guest artists and educators visit regularly and interdisciplinary projects are encouraged. Opportunities are provided to tour and perform in numerous community and cultural settings.
Associate Degree of Dance
The Bachelor of Dance has an optional exit point at the end of the second year. Students exiting after two years are awarded the Associate Degree of Dance. They would be well-positioned to take up a variety of support roles in performance or production, and to run dance programs in schools and private studios.
Career Opportunities
As a graduate, you will be recognised by other accredited institutions and by employers in all sectors of the community.
Completion of the dance degree can lead to employment in dance performance, arts administration, or of community based arts projects, teaching dance or creative movement in studios, or teaching secondary dance (with the completion of the Institute’s Graduate Diploma of Education).
